Seedling exodus

Thanks to Catriona, shelving was finally erected inside the green house, enabling a mass exodus of leggy seedlings from the house to the green house. It feels good to be reclaiming a bit of the house at last! She and Jamie's ma also helped transplant hundreds of baby snap dragons and plant up our mini orchard.
We all enjoyed a well-deserved day out in Halifax and endured the icy wind chill at Peggys Cove.
Myself and Jamie loved having them to stay and found it very hard to let such efficient workers go! (ha!) We miss you loads. Since their departure we've finished planting up a few bare root perennials (hopefully hardy enough since we have had some snow this week - yikes). With over 5,000 seedlings on the go, we really are in need of another green house. Now my dad, Rob has arrived so after returning laden from the hardware store here begins another construction project.
